So, I took the birth control pill before, to regulate my periods, not for contraception. I'm not sexually active.I only took them for 2 monthes though, because they made my long-gone migraine headaches re-surface and made me pretty moody. But I later got a lower dosage pill which I've been taking but they seem to have made me hostile. REALLY hostile. I mean, I was angry and irritable beforehand, but now I'm REALLY violent. And there's no way i'm putting my mom through that, so she said to just stop them. Now I've only taken about 10 or 11 pills sofar, not even done a pack. Beforehand when I just stopped the pills it seemed like I had a pretty serious side effect (just manicly depressed for a few days) and I'm wondering, do I just altogether stop, or is there a different way?

You might have to try different types of birth control until you find one that works for you. Try maybe a constant hormone instead of one with a week of placebo pills. I was really sensitive to the hormones until I got on Mircette. That worked for me.

DEFINITELY talk to your doctor, about everything, tell her about the violent behavior, everything. It could be just the pills, there could be more to it. It should be OK within a couple days of quitting the pill, nothing long-term should happen anyway. You might experience irregular periods again, but at least your emotions should go back to normal...

I've experienced (kinda) the same thing. I've been on the pill twice now at different times in my life, once for three months, once for two years, for different reasons, and one time was one kind (I can't remember now!) and the other time was a different kind. Both kinds made me fell like I had PMS continuously, mood swings for sure being the main symptom. The second time I was on it for the three month time span and recognized immediately what was happening and stopped right in the middle. I'm fine and that was five years ago.

Birth control pills I don't think are made for everyone, every woman is different. I don't condone unprotected, promiscuous sex and I don't have the problem of irregular periods either, but remember you are introducing something into your body (no matter how safe it is) that isn't 'natural' and that's how me personally, I have to deal with it.

Just talk to your obgyn and good luck!!

This may sound harsh, but: Sit your little hot behind down, girl, and tend to your children! Obviously, you've made some bad choices (that you continue making) and you are way too caught up in looks and attractiveness than what really matters: reliability, honesty and integrity. Last time I checked, having JET black hair has never paid any bills and having hazel eyes never raised a child. You need to do some soul searching and find out what it is about you that makes you value attractiveness over substance and also why you now have three children by three different men. Surely, you don't think that's ok. There's nothing cute or admirable about this situation. Time to start behaving like an adult. Never too late. PS - Forget the birth control. You need to be neutered.

I'm sorry to know your suffering with the side effects. Try to tapper the dose (e.g. take 1/2 of the pill daily for 4 days- cut the pill to half then 1/4 of the pill daily for another 4 days then stop all together). It worth a try - but spotty bleeding may occur during this period.

If your feeling that way..just stop taking them...but maybe theres other medicine you should take for your anger..along with the pill..anger shouldnt come from the pill...and not usually if you have taken them for only 10 days..talk to a doc:)

I just went off mine because I thought they were making me sick, come to find out it was just a "bug" going around. Anyhow, I didn't have any side effects, just a period within a couple of days of going off, even though I had just had my period a week or so before.
I was on Yasmin.
