i'm a 19 yo girl and when i was at the mall i looked a younger boy who was really cute. he had really pretty eyes and mouth. idk how old he was but he looked around 13 or so. when i first looked at him he seemed a little freeked out, but then he kind of seemed as if he liked me looking.
did i do something bad? i never looked at someone that young before.

i dont think i looked at him in a sexual way, he was just very cute. but when i thought about him later it did feel a little bit sexual. but i wouldnt touch him or nothing.

It depends on the way you looked at him. If you looked at him in a sexual manner, than thats a little perverse but since you didn't act on it, at least you have it in control. If you were innocently checking him out before you realized he was still a minor, I think thats okay too. People don't always look their age. So you might have been checking him out on "false pretenses."
I think whats the important thing is that you didn't do anything after you realized how old the young man was. You showed restraint and even identified what you did probably wasn't the best thing to do. We all make mistakes. Learn from them instead of dwelling on them.

Sometimes people are a lot older than they look. For all you know, he could have been 18. I'm 26 and I look like I'm 16 lol I mean obviously before DOING anything with someone you should confirm their age. Age is hard to tell by looking. Some people are 15 and LOOK 30.

well, that is a big, huge age gap! A relationship between a 13 and 19 would never work. I'm sure there are tons of cute 19 yr old boys you could meet?

no, you can't help looking. I mean it's one thing if you wanted to start a relationship or something, that would be kind of weird because your maturity levels would vary so much, but there is no harm in just looking. Besides, it was just at the mall, not like some private place where it could have gotten weird. So I'd say, no worries!

People today stress age gap to much, and they are the hypocrits. Most of your parent's parents probably had at least a 5 year age difference when they married, and i know quite a few kids whose parent's have a ten year age difference, so why should dating be any different? It is not bad to look at him, chances are you will probably never see him again.

He was a beautiful young man in your eyes and there was no harm in enjoying his beauty. If he had said anythng you should simply say, "excuse me but I find you to be strikingly handsom but I guess all your girl friends tell you that already." There is no harm or sin in looking.

A 13 year old is a little kid still. If you just glanced at him alright but if you looked at him at all in a sexual way Id call a shrink.
