The game asks for a DNS number and I don't know what that is. I have dial up if that makes a difference.

If you have a dial up you don`t need DNS, just put everything automatic nothing manual. Make sure you have a Network Adapter with a game that supports online play via dial up.

You need a Network Adaptor. You should have a good connection though, or you'll lag. Most games that are now coming out and have online play usually require broadband to play them.
