If you have kids, stay in the marriage. I know it doesn't sound like fun, but you can't do them any good by breaking relationships. The only good reason for a divorce after having children with the man is if he's abusive, neglectful, stuff like that. Otherwise, deal. The kids need both parents to have real security.
If you don't have kids, still think about the reasons why you want a divorce. Your husband may be willing to really change. You don't want to go through your life with regrets and heartache. All men seem really great from the get-go, but most get "old" with time. So, even if your BF looks wonderful now, he may just be another man to get rid of later. My point is, when you break up a relationship that is committed as marriage, oftentimes you become unable to resolve conflicts in future relationships. Running is the easy answer, especially when you have arms outstreched to you from another. But it may not be the happy one in the long run. Really consider the decision. Please. Because men (like your husband) don't push away divorce papers unless they really love you and want to work it out.

It does take time to make sure a person is the right one. Well if this was my husband I would let him have io his way. But have your lawyer get in contact with him and call his is he has one. You should also let the court know. If all this has been done, then some how talk to him. Let him know that it just did not work and he needs to get over it. If he is not signing over the paper just to get you mad then tell him to sing the papers over so both your lives can go on. I am hoping your new man knows your going through the divorce. And if it is love between you two then he should comletley under stand. Dont let you ex husband get in the way, be happy. That LiTTLe piece of paper will be signed. You ex has to stop being imature and bean adult.

Boyfriend and husband. You need to divorce and make that final then comes the boyfriend. I know it's the 20th century but really. Marriage has the same rules as always. If you're sure you want to divorce then go through with it. Your husband will have to turn in papers whether he wants to or not.

Be honest with both parties. Tell your husband that if he tries to fight you on the divorce that things could turn ugly. Tell him that unless he wants you to end up hating him that he needs to just be amicable and go through with the divorce and that you are not in love with him any more.

Does that even take a second thought?

Get the divorce because you'll be right back where you started. Hello!!!!!

Sounds like your husband is quite the manipulator

Take control of the situation and take your husband to Court and force the divorce.

you know, i think i am in the same situation as you, but I am the boyfriend and i absolutely love this girl but i feel like she is torn between two loves...I have never loved someone so much in my entire life and it is hard to watch her struggle with this whole situation...if you love your husband, and know you can be with him the rest of your life, do it, if you love your boyfriend (which i hope my girlfriend chooses me) then you should take a chance with him because honestly, your husband chances are will like you and not be over you for a long time but your boyfriend may be the love of your life and be the one that your heart longs for, I know with my g/f, i don't want to lose her and I love her more than anything in my life cause she is the most amazing person i have ever met...so good luck, i feel your dilemma but give love a chance and go with your boy, that is just one person's opinion though :o)

You should be happy in a relationship. Don't do something you don't want to do because someone else wants it. What kind of relationship would you have with your husband when in your heart you want to be with another?
