I'll be 16 soon and I'm plannin to get my eyebrow pierced on the day of my b-day, right before goin 2 skool. And if I dont get it on my B-day, I'll prolly be getting it with the help of my older male friend, who will say he's my brother or w.e. But I am getting it! My mom doesn't want me to do it and her only reason for not letting me go is becuz "she doesn't like the way it looks and is concerned about how others will view me". I'm like WTF?! I dont give a shyt about how other people view me, so why does she? My average is 92, I'm the Cheerleading Captain, and I'm good kid. I dont understand why this is such a problem. It's not like I'm gonna change as a person when I get the piercing! I need someway to hide it. I know I wont be able to hide it forever but atleast 4 awhile.I doubt my mom is gonna have the balls to actually make me take it out if I were to get it. But parents are unpredictable so u never know. Its worth a try- it wont be my money she's wasting cuz I dont get allowence.

I wasn't asking whether to get it, I was asking how to hide it when I do get it. And this older "male friend" is my friends brother. Besides I'm gay.........so, he's just not my type. And this "attitude' that I have has nothing to do with how hard I work at skool and try to be a good person.

1st: I hope you are going to a reputable place to have this done, from experience I got my navel pierced when I was 16 out of some guys house who would pierce minors and got a nasty infection.

I don't think your "brother" can consent for you either since you are a minor and he would have to show identification. Your eyebrow is a difficult place to hide a piercing especially since you have to take care of it for at least 6 weeks with the initial jewelry that they pierce you with. If it was past the initial healing period you could keep the hole open with some sterile fishing string which I used when I had surgery a few years back but otherwise your parents will know you can't hide two holes on your face.

Good Luck and be safe

Ha I was in the same boat as you I had my tounge pierced for my 16h bday! During lunch I had a male friend claming he was my uncle and I got it done I came home and showed my mom wat was she going to do rip it off?? She can have the option of suing the place that did the piercing without verifying the person who took you in so if your mom is crazy like that I wouldnt do it but you know your mom ask if MAYBE they can pierce it with a clear stud which I doubt but once in you can have a clear stud the only reason why I never got my brown done was bc it leave a scar and a patch without hair later on in life when you do decide to remove it

Hi, I dont want to be a fuddy duddy BUT- If you dont give a shyt about what other people think why would you want to hide it. You must want to make some kind of statement to get a piercing in the first place instead of being your self so if you can handle the looks and comments and the judegement what your statement is then go for it and wear it with pride and dont hide.

it is hard. try to cover it up with your bangs or even try to put in a clear ring but it is bad to put a clear ring in if it isnt healed. so you do have a couple weeks to bear and try to hide it. good luck. and be careful with your mom. keep the eyebrow clean and safe.

I can't believe a "good kid" would talk like you or have your attitude. You're not even 16 yet! What are you trying to prove by going against your mom? You obviously don't have any respect for her, talking about her the way you do. It sounds like you may have some issues. Trust me piercing your eyebrow isn't going to fix it. Or are you trying to impress this ""older male friend"? Why ask this question when your going to do what you want anyway.
