As much as I loved and still love Aaliyah I doubt that she would be bigger than Beyonce if she were still alive. She was a very talented young lady but if she were still her I just don't see her having as many fans alive as she does now that she's gone. The same would be that case with Beyonce if she were to die but I think Beyonce appeals to a wider audience than Aaliyah did or would have. Then again maybe they are of equal legendary status but in different ways.

No, Beyonce' will never be Aaliyah. Beyonce' is pretty and talented but she still has a long way to go to become a legend. Aaliyah was classy, elegant, talented, and sexy. Her star power was really on the raise. She was a true talent and beauty and is truly missed.

Beyoncé... Legend? Some of you may think that way...
Not me... I don't think so...
Aaliyah became a legend for dieing at such a young age at the point she was going to "take over" the world...
If she would have been alive today she really would have outrage Beyoncé...
Aaliyah stood at the beginning of set her feet in to Europe and the rest of the world...
She already made plans to come to Europe for more promotion and even concerts were mentioned as part of the plan...
In my opinion Aaliyah is a better dancer and performer than Beyoncé ever will be...
Beyoncé may have proven to be a big celebrity world wide over +/- 10 years...
Unfortunately Aaliyah didn't have more time to get a chance to become that famous in the world...
But with the little that she did reached in Europe and the little she had shown through out the world...
A deep impact and empty feeling she left behind...
Aaliyah may you rest in peace...
You're still missed by many of us...

ok who's on beyonce point appropriate now? no physique. female gaga is up there, yet she nevertheless isn't touching Beyonce in sales. the real query is, if Aaliyah develop right into a stay, could she be a miles better celebrity than the artist that beyonce roasted and left to insurrection?

Id have to agree w/ you Aaliyah was in her prime and was taken to heaven prematurily. Had she had the longevity that Beyonce has been blessed to have she would have record sales and celebrity that for exceeds anything that Beyonce could imagine.

I don't think so, at least not yet. Aaliyah is a legend because she has passed (R.I.P.) and once you've passed you're a huge deal.
