In Vodou most of the dresses for women are in peasant dresses. There are no costumes in the religion. Look up rara. It is a carnival celebration in Haiti held every year. The dancers in rara wear very colorful and outrageous costumes. You can also see some of the costumes in Maya Deren's film "Divine Horseman". You may be able to find it at the library. The only thing is the film is in black and white, but you can make the colors yourself. You can also want to try and find about certain dances(ers) in Santeria. I know that there are alot of different clothes worn by certain dancers during an Orisha birthday party.
