definitely, messi is better, english players are all overrated and underperform on the international stage

Messi because he's a very skilled player. Many in Argentina say that he's the next Maradona and he's very good. Lennon isn't that well known but he doesn't have much coverage. I think it's too early to compare but Messi already has a Champions Leaugue cup.

messi is better than lennon cuz messi is actually known in the world. that was only point #1. Messi is starting for Barcelona and Lennon isnt starting for his club team. Messi had 1 goal and 1 assist in the WC and lenon had nothing

I think Lennon will keep getting better, but he plays a different role than messi. Messi is a lot more creative and scores regularly. Both have a lot of upside and will do much though.

Lionel messi is much better he is top class and will be a world beater. i firmly believe he will overthrow ronaldinho as the best player in the world and he is only 19. many argentinians have been compared to maradona and said to be the "new maradona" and none have them have been able to handle the comparison and live up to the expectation. Leo is different he hasnt been affected by superstardom hes humble and not only that his comparison was from no other than maradona himself leo is the only one who has been declared maradonas heir by maradona himself. what an honour but did it go to his head no it didnt. Leo has far more to offer than lennon, hes fast, creative and a great finisher.
