Who else thought project runway Jeffery had the trashiest designs?

I thought Jefferies designs would only be worn by porn and soap Opera stars. Why was he chosen when the average or even wealthy woman won't be caught dead in such dreadful garb? I won't watch another project runway series because he was chose over Uli and Laura whose designs were so classy. Am I nuts or are they?

That was a really artful collection. It was based on Japanese ghost stories. You might want to review it again and also look at the project runway auctions and see how people are bidding with their money on the designs. I think people are voting for what they want. Uli was very good, but Jeff was just a tad bit more creative than she was. His clothes were wearable and beautiful. It was fair. Laura's designs while wearable were not creative and had been done before. Michaels designs just missed. They were not really wearable and they were really not very creative. He took a huge backslide without the restrictions of a competion just like he did on his last design. He really needs direction to design.

It was very fair. Just because you do not like Jeffrey does not mean he was not the best designer. Look at episodes 1 and 2 of the finale again and see where people were at when tim came. Laura was ahead, but not creative, Michael was not done at all Jeffrey was very far ahead and had a whole idea created. Uli was not far, but pulled it out because she is so creative.

Jeffrey was chosen because he put on the best runway show. He was the most professional in his concept, his exectution of design, and his whole compostition from design, to model, makeup, hair and music selection. Just watch it again. A person cannot win by making dresses from the past it just is not fair and Uli procratinated some and did not have as good of a story alothough she was really good. All collections were wearable except michael nights. I really thought his speach with the growl/howl in it was horrible. He went back to his 1-900 call me number sexy sultry and sophistocated. People were expecting him to win. They gave him 10 K and he is going to buy a watch with it? What is with that when he could go and study fashion in europe or start some design. That is such a major waste of money. Perhaps that money should have gone to one of the other designers who has more sense so they could use it for something more worthwile. What a waste Michael was the fan favorite he disapointed me and Ameriaca. Did his confidence send him to arrogance? What is that mans problem. He could have sent most anything down the runway and been ahead of Laura, but insetead he botched it up major. What a waste. Jeff deserved to win. It was design and exectution and creativity. If you do not want to watch again that is your loss. America will be watching.

No you are not nuts, but this is a runway show and it is about creativity. It was also possible to wear jeffs clothes in reality. Watch fashion trance on the style network and see how many of those clothes are non wearable. It is called editorial. Jeff is just cutting edge. That stuff really could be worn.

I could not believe it when they said Jeffery, I would have bet my life that they were going to say Uli Laura or Michael, anyone but him, I thought he had the worst collection , they praised Laura and Uli, and I thought they told Jeffery that his wasn't that good? I'm still in shock! There is something funny going on there, and I'm not laughing...it just did not add up... I have to watch it again...it was so disappointing, and I read that the reason Laura accused Jeffery of someone else might have helped him so some of his work , His mother and Laura's mother became friends after the had that show where each one had a relative as there model, and supposedly Jeffery's mother told Laura's mother that he had out side help, buts that kind of hard to believe too, because that would be like putting a knife in your sons back...I don't know, it just didn't add up.

Trashy? No. Keep in mind that Jeffery is from LA and the clothes he created are very LA. I can picture plenty of people from LA wearing his clothes. What the judges saw was a unique style that was totally Jeffery inspired by his background. So what if your average American woman won't wear it... the designs that Jeffery makes are artistically his. As far as Laura goes, her clothes are very classy, but there's nothing artistically special about those designs. Uli is a fantastic designer, but she's kind of a one trick pony. Jeffery has the total package.

I agree with you about the clothes he did over the entire competition, but not about his finale collection. I think he won because many of his pieces would look cute on -- and would be worn by -- young girls. Since teens are always buying clothes, I imagine that he was chosen because his designs are marketable. Also, I think the designs could be produced inexpensively and sold at H&M-type outlets, if not even Wal-Mart or Target.

Michael's designs were also meant for young girls.

Yet Uli's and Laura's designs were more grown up. Uli's clothes could be more mass-market; Laura positioned herself as a high-end designer. I wish Laura or Uli had won, but IMHO, as a general rule, women over thirty or so have already figured out what they like to wear and buy fewer clothes than do teens or girls in their twenties.

As to Jeffrey's character: ugh! Certainly one can see that he was abused, but please, let him go to therapy like everyone else.

I agree with you and NOT the Project RUnway judges.

Artistically Jeffrey put on a fine show, but if I were to invest in or purchase clothing by one of the finalists, Jeffrey would not win my money. Especially from an investment and real-world perspective. Jeffrey's designs should never make it onto the racks...Michael, Laura and Uli's should.

did Jeffery win i fell asleep before the end
but i did see his outfits and WOW they were disturbing i think thats the word
but they say the more extreme the better people willl like them
