80's outfit?

Ok well, my school is having spirit week and tuesday is 80s day.
How should i do my hair, makeup, and even more important what should i wear????????

Leggings, neon, big belt, big hair. Ooooo...I love the 80's!!!! (and you can find most of the stuff you need at ANY thrift store)

BIG hair. They were crazy about the volume back in those days. Lift it up at the root as much as you can. If it is curly or can be curly - even better. Lots and lots of hairspay.

Leggins (preferably bright colored), wide belts high on your waitsline on top of an oversized shirt, wide padded shoulders, bright colors.

Can you imagine that people were wearing colorful legwarmers as a part of their outfit. With a mini-skirt and sneakers. This was the most distasteful fasion I witnessed.

Bell bottom or boot cut pants were out, totally out. If you are wearing pants they have to be high waist, wide in the hips, still pretty wide in the knee area and gradually narrowing to the ancle. They were called banana pants. You can probably find those in Goodwill stores.

Makeup was very bright, too - bright blue eyeshadows, bright pink lips.

Think of "Married With Children" - they are all dressed up like 80s, especially Peggy and her daughter.

ABBA was a huge trend setter of the 80s.

For your hair put alot of mouse and make your hair big. The 80's was all about big hair. Your makeup should be dramatic like red lip stick and pink eyeshadow. Wear an off the sholder top and a ripped skirt with leggings. or ripped jeans. Wear shoes like vans or converse.

Very easy to dress 80's these days. Hair should be high...teased with alot of volume, make sure you have enough hairspray. When doing makeup you want to make your eyes are very dark...thick black eyeliner on top and bottom and heavy on the mascara. For clothes leggings are every where right now and coordinate it with a long tunic, and a large chunky belt, if you really want to go all the way throw in a lace fingerless glove on one hand...and your totally 80's.
