Bush created the enemy from his own obsession. Get rid of Bush and the enemy will disappear. Bush is the real enemy, not some Muslim squatting in a mud hut.

If anything the Al Qaeda wants to keep Bush and Rumsfeld exactly where they are so that the US keeps troops in Iraq because that, unfortunately, helps recruit and give on the job training to more terrorists. Iraq is like a terrorist factory right now just like Afghanistan was when the Soviets invaded it in the 1980s. That's where Bin Laden got all his training.
They can also sit back and watch Bush dismantle the US constitution and take away more American freedoms than any US enemy ever has. Finally, whoever takes over Congress and the White house they will certainly make changes in the Iraq and it doesn't matter what changes they are just as long as Bush/Rumsfeld had nothing to do with it. Change will hurt the terrorists and help the US win the war.

Well, of course if they see lots of people here in the US
criticize Bush and Rumsfield, that gives aid and comfort to
the enemy. If all our citizens had backed this war, they would
be scared to death, and the war would probably have been
over by now. I'm sure they sit back very pleased to see our
citizens bickering over here, one wanting to stay the course,
and one side wanting to cut and run.

A very loaded question...Do we sit back and allow a government contunue to "Stay the course" of a failed policy because to question the government and insist that they desist MAY make the enemy feel all warm and fuzzy inside....NO, I think I'll have soup.
* Ruth: I am worried about our Troops LIVES, more so than their morale.

I think we have every right to criticize when we feel something is wrong. How can we ever right a wrong if we can't criticize it. Screw what the enemy thinks one way or the other.

The Dem's will stoop to anything to get back in power, so with the help of the liberal media they constantly slam the president of the United States making up anything or grossly exaggerating facts to the detriment of all US citizens. I find most of them to be traitors for this reason alone. Too bad they aren't charged with treason and shot like they would've been back in WWII.

Who cares about the enemy's perspective?
I am only concerned about our troops, and I think they are very demoralized by the loud criticism of the war...

Of course it's comfort to them, humor too. War has become their life. They get to see the fruits of their effort--- kill enough people and we will give up.
