if i get your question, then no . Your name won't show up, only your number will be in their recent calls. But it isn't like home phone caller ID where is says "Call From Smith J"

Your friend (or wrong number!) can look under "calls received," and unless you have signed up for caller-ID blocking, your number will be in there. I called my supervisor from my cell phone; she called back and did not leave a message. Her number appeared under "missed calls"; the system at work is configured so that a specific number appears on caller-ID if anyone from work calls someone with caller-ID. The number is not my supervisor's number. :-)
