My dads shields are up....meaning his toenails curl over his toes when they grow out. Why is that? what should he do? I'm talking about they curl tightly.

He should cut them! Tell your dad that proper personal hygiene is very important for his health as he gets older.

they call them Rams horns. it's because he don't cut them. he should go to a foot doctor and get them trimmed before they get ingrown and infected
