would you be in favor of a liberal American President who:
#1 changed the defense budget so that rather than shoveling money into the pockets of contractors - focused on VETERAN HEALTHCARE, PTSD programs for vets of Iraq and Vietnam and focused on better armor and safety for US Troops?
How about cutting the war budget so that rather than producing new weapons of war - America focused on UPGRADING technology we allready have (like Europe does). America already has the finest military in the entire world. Why spend 2 billion dollars per B2 &
$45 Million per F22 jet?
#2 FOCUSED ON AFFORDABLE HEALTHCARE and fixing SCHOOL SYSTEMS while offering national parenting support rather than simply building jails for kids?
#3 Took all the ridiculous Neocon - Christian Right wing BuIIsh!t out of politics so that children aren't taught "ADAM AND EVE RODE AROUND ON DINOSAURS " and are instead taught evolution theory, scientific theory and math like all the 3rd world kids outperforming us

Won't happen. Why? Because the defense contractors that would be out the money if the guy/woman got into office would back their opponent so they could get the money when the other person got into office.
In a perfect world, with a government truly run by the people and for the people, this all would work. And truth be told, it sounds wonderful. But in the real world, our government is run by the people with the money - and the more money you have, the louder you talk, and the more they listen and do to please you. So money is our form of government, and the government is run by the money, and for the money. It is sad, and I hate it, but it is true.
So to answer your question: Yes, I would be in favor. But right now, as things are, it will not happen. The way the government is run has to change before that will even be possible. All those ideals will be is campaign promises.

I agree with you on spending more money on veterans health care and upgrading our weapons technology what you seem to be asking for is a liberal to do this but what about Clinton did he do any of this. He used the B2's against Iraq and Serbia. These weapons programs employ tens of thousands of people what happens if they all get laid off. I'm not willing to have half my paycheck going to pay for health care like in Europe but would like a break on day care. We've already taking God out of the classroom and evolution is being taught in schools but creationism should also be taught. It's safe to say the liberal multi-culturalism experiment has been a miserabal failure only dividing people.

NO I would not!!! Esp when you think Christians are the worst thing to affect society. Look at our Judicial System (the best in the world) founded on Judeo-Christian ethics, the hospitals and universities all started by Christian organization, the percentage of charitable contributions vs. non-Christians, etc etc.....and you don't even mention Islamo-faschism, the GREATEST threat to democracy in the world today!!!

everything except #3. I was never taught "adam and eve rode around on dinosaurs" in school, thanks. I learned about dinosaurs, but was never subjected to religion in school growing up.
So, do you have a candidate that fits #1 and #2, or was that just wishful thinking?
EDIT so you added #4 and #5, what is it that you have against Christians? I mean, really? I guess when you go to hell, you might wish you were one of them.

I'd settle for a president that can point out the G8 on a globe, and doesn't think newspapers are "boring."

I have not seen any Liberals even the ones who claim to be veterans, they don't care, it's about votes, stick your finger in the air, see where the wind blows. J.K. the same one who put a knife in the back of his fellow Vietnam heroes....oh sure....
