Opinion Question: Which sport is better, Soccer or Baseball? Why is one better than the other?

Personally, I think futbol is awesome, and baseball is way too slow. Nothing matches up to the World Cup!

Well from the history of man, people have always wanted something of value, or with value . That's why people started trading using gold as currency because it is hard to find and when you get gold you would have achieved something of a milestone . They didn't use granite or sand because everything would go into inflation . Look at baseball they have score like 54 - 21 . Soccer we have 2-1 and we call them Goals because it's actually a task to achieve it .

To prove it , baseball supporters cheer and clap hands when a score is added up with there team . they sit down in silence and wait for another .

Meanwhile a goal scored in a game of football would be a moment of joy, a moment to be remembered , a moment not to be forgotten about . Fans can last until 90 minuted singing , dancing, whistling and celebrating even a whole night party for only one goal . they can even talk about one goal for years .

My dad is still talking about the goal Carlos Alberto Perreira (Brazil ) scored in 1970 . I had to look for it in Gillette archives to actually see for myself if He was not exaggerating .

soccer all the way!!! seriously i cant imagine why anyone would like baseball so much that theyd consider it theyre favorite sport. baseball is boring, not only because its slow-paced but also cause everyone has to stay in one place. in soccer, the game is fast-paced, and the players actually MOVE AROUND also theres a lot of gaining and losing ground, attacks and counterattacks, corner kicks, and penalties to keep things interesting. And id like u all to remember, the fun in soccer isnt just in the goals, its in the challenge and teamwork that it takes to score them. Seriously why do u think players are so happy when they score a goal? if a soccer match ended with a score of 21-16 for example, u woudnt see the players running around celebrating at all. as a matter of fact a score of 21-16 is as boring as a score of 0-0 if u ask me. plus, when was the last time you ever saw a match end in a goalless draw? i dont remember a single match that ended that way. its always AT LEAST 1-0, if its not sumthing like 2-1 or even 3-2. so dont say soccer is boring, cause even if it is sumtimes, baseball is worse.

Close one. Soccer (football) is faster and fun to watch, there's a lot of passion. Baseball is good too but it's slower. But both are fun. A team can be down in a soccer game but in a few minutes can win the game; the same for baseball. However, I like both but I think soccer has the edge on this one.

They are two totally different sports which can be enjoyed for totally different reasons. Football has the constant action(hopefully) and baseball has the tension as you slowly try to get runners in scoring positions. I love them both and will look forward to the World Series almost as much as I looked forward to the World Cup.

Baseball by a mile. A 0-0 game in soccer is boring. A 0-0 game in baseball is intense. Baseball also requires you to use your hands and more coordination.

omg soccer is so so much more exciting! baseball is so slow. most of the time once you get ahead in baseball, u r the winner. but in soccer, anyone can win. and it moves so much more faster!!!!!!!!!
