I was a "cereal killer" one year we stabbed a whole bunch of cereal boxes with plastic knives and glued them onto a black sweatshirt.
Blind date. Have a cane, some dark glasses/sunglasses, and then a calendar page on your chest. That'd be very clever!!

Make a table out of cardboard or something with a hole in the middle to wear around your waist. Put an alarm clock or a picture frame or something on it and put a lampshade on your head. You're one-nightstand.

Get white sweats, a bright yellow round pillow, red tights, and devil horns.
Put on white sweats.
Tape or pin yellow round pillow to your middle.
Stuff one leg of red tights (add pointy tail with construction paper if desired) and attach to rear end.
Wear devil horns on head
