It makes your skin look smoother and more flawless. As long as you use the right color that matches your skin tone. Powdered foundation can help reduce shine. Just make sure you don't pile it on.

If it isn't cakey, it TOTALLY pays off. Buy a good one, a nice creme the exact color of you skin. Mouses tend to be great if you buy an expensive one, but cheap mouses suck!!! My favorite brand is Maybelline but thats just me. Remember, foundation is for the "natural" look, so avoid combining with a bright or noticible blush: Your foundation will look crazy cakey. When you have the foundation, put 3 small blobs: 1 one the forehead and one on each cheek. To make it look best, limit yourself to this amount. Good Luck!

I LOVE THIS QUESTION!!!
Only because I know the answer......and after over 38 yrs of wearing the stuff.....I know now.
And the answer is YES...but you MUST FOLLOW THE RULES
which are below.
1.you must have a good foundation(nothing too cheep)
2.you need to make sure all hair is off your face
3.NEVER use TOO MUCH....big rule.
4.MOST IMPORTANT....the color of the foundation MUST BE THE SAME AS YOUR SKIN COLOR OF YOUR NECK!
5.Never put it on Your NECK.....big no-no.
So say your neck is heeps white, then you MUST not wear much foundation on your face.Just a little.
This is how to apply o.k....hair all off the face.
Take a small amount size of two peas in your hand...gently rub with both hands it all over your face...NOT toooo much.Even on your eyelids.
Make sure!! it is even all over by rubbing ever so gently onto your face...all over .
Check it!! for at least 30 seconds...You need a mirror that has a magnifying side.o.k. so you do not miss one tiny speck.
After time, this will Be something you just know how to do...easy
Then do your eyebrow with pencil or whatever you use, eyelids...and mascara your eyelashes....maybe a little color on the cheeks....But! only a little. And a little lipstick.....finished.!

hey it depands what type of foundation that you are going to choose, i like the liquid one because of the result that you get and it gives you a natural result !!! so i think that you should just experiment with differnt types of foundation items and pick the one that you like best !!! GOOD LUCK

If you're complexion isn't perfect, yes. Cover Girl Clean Make-Up is great - it just evens up your skin tone.

yes, it smooths out your skin complexion if you apply it correctly. you have to match your skin tone, otherwise you can make your skin look horribly pale or a darker shade so it looks like your wearing a mask.
