It was a huge hit for Bonnie Tyler in the 70's, Her first hit was "Lost In France", then she developed nodules on her vocal chords, and had an operation to have them removed. The operation altered her voice, however, but her new "raspy" sound certainly helped her career. In the 80's, of course, Bonnie had another huge hit with "Total Eclipse of the Heart".
