In the past, I used to be a normal person.
I used to live very calmly and used to solve my problems and move on without any worries.
If I had something I knew that I should do, I used to do no matter if I liked it or not.
I had confidence in myself.
In general, I was a person who feels satisfied whenever I achieve something and who doesn't give up whenver he fails.
Now, my life is in a mess.
Probably I lost all y self confidence.
I can't do anything right.
I am very lazy.
The best thing I can do is creating excuses.
My mind doesn't work in a straight direction.
I put a plan for me, and the next second I forget all about it
Sometimes I say that this is maybe because I chose the wrong thing to study
But when I think about it I discover that am not good in anything anymore not only my studies
What kills me is that most of my teachers tell me that am smart by I don't give an effort
The last time I studied for more than 1 hour was 3 years ago
How can I discover myself again?

nothing is wrong with you!! this happens to a lot of people when the are stressed and burn out. my recommendation is that you start small and take steps. start with trying to find something you love to do. getting involved in something you like usually motivates people. don't join something that is going to add stress though. do something small like paint or read a book.
usually putting joy back in your life makes you happier. by being happy you will usually give you energy and gives you self confidence.
i hope this helps good luck.

Obviously, I'm not a therapist, but this sounds like it could be a combination of depression and stress. Like others have mentioned, has something happened recently to cause this -- change in jobs or lifestyle, death of someone close to you, moving, anything at all that could have kicked your legs out from under you, so to speak?

Please make an appointment with a doctor and go in for a thorough checkup, mental AND physical. Sometimes hidden health conditions can produce similar symptoms, as well as mental stressors. Only a professional can make an accurate diagnosis, and the sooner you go in, the sooner you can be on the road to being your old self again.

Good luck, and God bless.

are you depressed? has something happened that changed you outlook on life? depression can take the joy out of things that you used to like doing. it can also make you apathetic toward daily activities making you feel like you are lazy which only makes matters worse. it can also cause you to lose focus. try to talk to someone, a professional counselor or a maybe a close friend at first to get an opinion. if theres something wrong it doesn't mean that you are defective as a person. you probably just need to adjust to changes in your life, which is tough, but you can do it. good luck :)

I think i'm going through that myself. I've worked my way back from that. I was shy, didn't talk to anybody and hid behind my hair. Right now my work is falling and i feel overwhelmed over nothing. I cut my hair really short and started working myself forward one baby step at a time. First i talked to someone i never ususally talk to and worked my way from there. Just yesterday, i answered questions in class.
What i'm saying is find out what started falling first. Work on fixing that and it'll help you find out and fix everything else and whatever you do, don't give up on yourself.

you ARE discovering yourself
stop sweating it

some times you'll do a lot
some times you'll do less
don't put negativities on yourself, no matter what mode you're in

if you feel like shifting down right now,
do it.
you'll find that once you stop worrying about how much you do, or don't, get accomplished, you'll be able to see more clearly
what YOU want to accomplish.

and then, you'll find your drive again
--even if it's in the slow lane

cheers, mate

Vitamin deficiency, anemia, chemical imbalance, clinical depression

See a doctor soon. Make sure that you get blood work done. Explore all other possibilities before going on medication for depression.

If you don't do anything else, make sure you do this before whatever ails you makes your life worse.

Go see a counsellor. That way you can find out where all your self-confidence went as well as your motivation.

I've been there. As long as you make an effort to solve your problems, you'll get to where you want to be.

Good luck to you!
