I have a question, these celebrities wear makeup...their foundation, and etc, concealer, powder seems to be flawless. Like it blocks everything, doesnt look fake, but it makes them look different.

Its hard to explain, but the foundations i seem to use dont do nething to me, they dont block anything. Im a natural looking girl, but for a homecoming im looking for a foundation, concealer, and powder, that will make me look different. Is Sallys Spray on makeup, does that make it look good?

i need to go know waht to use.
Thanks

I use L'Oreal true match concealor and foundation, and M.A.C. studio fix powder. Nobody has to find out what my horrible skin really looks like!

I'm afraid it's cameras, lighting etc that make their skin look flawless. Now that we have high definition TV, it's been brought to the public's attention that many celebrities have very flawed skin.

I think you're much better off without foundation, as it looks more natural without and foundation often causes blemishes. Use a little concealer over any flaws, with a little powder over the concealer to make it stay. You can also put just a little powder over any shiny areas such as your forehead. L'Oreal Bare Naturale is absolutely the best powder out there. A stick concealer will cover the best and stay the longest, but they're all pretty similar, so just make sure you get one that is a good match for your skin color.

If you want to look different, do something special with your eyes and lips!

You haven't been to a celebrity event in person, have you? Typically, the make-up is soooooo caked on, but from home you can't see that. In magazines, videos, and even movies, the skin can be airbrushed and touched up to appear flawless.

If you want this appearance, visit a cosmetics counter like MAC. They can provide you with a studio foundation that's thicker. You then need to apply a generous amount of power over it to set it and give the 'flawless' look. The problem is that in person, this type of make-up is often too much. When people get up close to you, they'll see how the make-up settles into fine lines, starts to run and smear and become patchy, and how thick it is. The camera and lights help to filter that all out.

Oh, and some just have gorgeous skin to begin with. : )

The makeup by Estee Lauder in the blue tube with the gold top is called Maximum Cover Makeup. It will give you a completely flawless look, although not very natural as it is heavy. Make absolute sure that the color is precise--do not try it out on the back of your hand--ask for a free sample and match it to your face only. It will work great for your pictures, just be sure that you do the rest of your makeup or you will look like a ghost-blush, eyes, liner, mascara, lipstick or gloss. Good luck and enjoy your special day!

I'm not sure about Sally's Spray on make-up but, I do like MAC and Bare Minerals.... Bare Minerals would especially be great if you're used to going natural because it's a natural powder. I love those both... they're awesome. GL and have fun.

The sprays STINK!!!! Not literally... they just DONT work. Loreal quick stick works good. As well as Dream matte, by Maybelline.
If you have the extra money... There is make-up by Estee Lauder in a blue tube with a gold top that works MIRACLES... literally. It hides veins, and all!!!!!! A LIL' costly but WORTH it. Lasts a VERY long time. Im talking months. Use it VERY sparingly it spreads a LLLLLOOONNNNGGGGG way. I would recommend that one first. But it costs about $40-$80.00 in dept stores.

currently i am using the US brand foundation which contains SPF15 which skin is protected with an exclusive UVA/UVB sunscreens and antioxidants complex. Best things is money back guarantee on product returns. This helps me to save $$ and more choices in changing to other tone foundation. Never heard on Salys spray before, but whatever product you use, make sure is not those cheapo type, it will harm your skin and later got to pay more $$ to see skin care specialist.

Those celebrities have professional makeup artists do their makeup, and usually there is some photoshop work done on their still shots. In real life, they have the same skin issues we all do, and their makeup never looks as good when they do it themselves as when a makeup artist does it.
