Because people love to be led.
It's easier to say "he's doing a great job" than it is to actually think about the repercussions of his actions. It's easier to say "the economy is booming" than it is to think about the long term effects of our exploding national debt.
People support Bush because it's easier than thinking.
Why is Bush such a hypocrite? Because he can be. The days of "actions speak louder than words" are gone. Spin and propaganda have replaced good deeds. It doesn't matter how contradictory his actions are, if he says "I'm a Christian", people will follow blindly into the abyss.

In all honesty, he is doing better. People seems to think that Mr. President is not intelligent, I happen to think he is very bright and he is doing the best that he can considering the circumstances. We may not have wanted to go into Iraq but we did, we are there now and we have lost to many lives at this point to pull out. We must stay the course or else all those lives were taken in vain. Let's get on the band wagon and support our president, "where two or more touching and agreeing", it could change the whole course of the situation. LET'S PRAY ONE FOR ANOTHER

Well, ik now u'll probably not believe me but you don't have much power being president. You're pretty much just a scapegoat with money. America is in bad times... not all of this is George Bush's fault...I'm not sayin he 's perfect, but....
Whenever something goes right everyone says well thats the way its supposed to be who gives a dang? but when something goes wrong it's automatically Bush's fault.

It runs in the family. His grandfather Prescott Bush had proven ties with communism and denied it until the day he died.
We all know what George Senior did with the "read my lips, no new taxes," and how that backfired 3 months later when he added new takes. What made that worse was while jogging a reporter asked him about it, he said, "no, I said read my hips."
And now GW with his weapons of mass destruction garbage.

Even if his actions don't match what people think of him, that is not what a hypocrite is. If his actions don't match his words, that would make him a hypocrite. I don't think he is.

Matter of opinion. I believe he IS doing a great job and you don't. Don't spread your opinion like it's a fact...
