hi yall. recently my gradmama asked me to drive her to Wisconsin from chicago so she could pick mushrooms. Being to lazy to drive 3 hours, is there any way to grow mushrooms at home without kits?

If you really don't want to drive granny go to a L&G and get the mushroom kits. They are simple to use and will produce a product you don't have to be afraid to eat.

Mushrooms are a fungus and as such must be started in a
sterile growing medium or mushroom spore is not what you will be growing. You have to have mushroom spores to start.
Wild Mushrooms can be very poisonous, you have to know what your eating
I would make the drive. Granny wont be around forever.
