What about a DVD or a CD? I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to religious holidays that aren't Catholic, so I don't really know the meaning of your day. You definitely want to go with something inexpensive to reflect your lack of greed during a Holy time.

How about a "Hope Chest" In America that is a traditional large wooden box that you put things in that you save for the time you get a place of your own. You fill it with such things as ; blankets, a clock or two; a toaster, Pots, pans, etc; you get the idea.
