My wife just got over the flu. She thinks she does not need to get vaccinated because she has already been exposed this flu season.
So should she ar shouldn't she get the vaccine?

I'd get the shot anyway...it'll help prevent any other strains of flu in the shot that wasn't the one she had, plus maybe help her from getting the same strain again (provided it was one that the injection helps prevent)...
I got my flu shot last week...this seems early in the year for year for her to have had it already...hope she's feeling better!

The flu vaccine provides protection against a number of strains of flu. Just because your wife recovered from one form does not mean that she will not get another, so she should get the vaccine.

You should never get a flu shot you're just putting a virus in your body. Why would you do that? The best way to fight the flu is to take large amounts of Garlic, Echinacea, and Cayenne. If you can find powdered Colostrum that would be helpful as well. Build your immune system naturally.

The purpose of the flu shot is to get it before the flu, to ward it off. There would be no point to have it now.

There are many different flu viruses. Your wife got ONE- doesn't make her immune to all the others. She should still get the shot.
Especially since she has already ben sick- her immune system is weaker.

She should still get it .. the flu she had is probably not the same one that will be going around this Winter, so she will not have immunity to it. Good Luck ! :)

She can drink fresh milk 3-5 times a week instate of vaccine !
You can do that too .. it will give you immunity, .!

yes indeed, there are three viruses this years vaccine innoculates against. Just because she had one doesn't mean she can't catch the other two.
