what kind of slacks should I wear with a navy pin-striped sport coat?

I would say black is the safest, but definitely not navy or the color of the stripe (white?)... unless if you want to look like a sailor. No striped pants, even if you find a pair that matches the pants EXACTLY, you don't want to look like a 6 yr old with a matching outfit.

I would say either the same color navy, white, or khaki would look the best!
