Gifts, because they are more personal and require some thought and effort. That makes me feel special while cash is just so impersonal and seems like an easy way out gift.

Neither...I rarely get anything I can use and I don't need or want cash. Now if someone wants to make me some home made jam, fudge or cookies...I would really like that and can share it with visitors.

i hate to sound greedy, but some people just do not know what the term "hillbilly" or "ghetto" means. i know someone who will wrap up obviously used items she doesn't want and give them as Christmas presents. hmm. maybe she just doesn't like me...
