My display name on IM only comes up as my real name. I want to keep it as my Yahoo ID. How do I change that? Please be very specific I have tried several options.

Click on messenger on the top left then click my contact details. Backspace where you name is and add another then click ok

Pull up your yahoo messenger then click the word messenger/ preference/appearance and it will say yahoo id or nickname or real name change it there.

ok well u go to where it says messenger, click that, then you'll see other stuff below that, then you'll see my contact details, click that then fill it out, but for nickname u want to put in the name you'd like to be seen on im.
