Why does a guy tell a girl he really loves her and wants to have kids with her after he has gotten what he wants but then abandons her when she ends up pregnant?

I want to thank everyone for their answers and yes we did use protection but for some reason it obviously didn't work. I agree that I have been stupid and need to stay away from guys for awhile if this is what it feels like to fall inlove I don't want it. Thanks again.

Guys do this because there dogs!! They'll never stop. When a guy gets a girl pregnant, he doesn't care. All he cares about is sweet talking the girl to get into her pants and when he gets what he wants he moves onto the next prey or girl. My father warned me about these sort of guys (dogs) and to be careful. When I was 17, this guy invited me over for me to check out his new place. When I got to his new place all he wanted for me to do was lie down on his bed and he kept sweet talking me and I knew what he wanted. I instead stood up, looked at my watch and pretended that I had an appointment with my dad and left. The next day I tested him and I called him, but as I thought he didn't answer. Can you imagine if I had given up my virginity to this dog I would have been devastated. Thankfully, my dad warned me ahead about these guys you're talking about.

When a guy does that to a lady, it means the only thing he cares about is conquring everyhting in sight so he can go brag to his friends and act cool. It's jerks like that who ruin it for us gentlemen. God, to fall in love a have a little munchkin would be the most amazing thing. And when a lady does fall in love with you, it makes her more beautiful than anyone. So believe me, we're not all like that.

Unfortunately honey, most men will say anything to have sex with you. Sincerity is not always there and it's difficult to tell. Just remember one thing.... not all men are the same, so don't give up looking for Mr. Right. There are very few of us left, but there are some.

Many men out here are pigs. They're digusting and a disgrace. They grew up not being raised properly and therfore they abandoned women. If they have no respect for their mothers, they'll have no respect for their wives.
And, in the times we are living in, rappers and television programs are only promoting men not respecting women at all.

All hearts are liars. So u must protect urself to combat this and enjoy w/o fear of getting pregnant. Deliver the child its yours and learn from your mistake.

They abandon u because they never really loved that person and they are scared because they know it and they know tha the person will find out and will never forgive them. boys will always be that way if they are not the right person for u.

It always sounds good til it happens. Not all men are like that though. But alot of them will say what they think you want to hear just to get what they want. Don't be swept off your feet too easily.
