To overcome self-imposed limitations you need to be fully aware of what you are doing currently and what you plan on doing in the process to achieve a goal. The second thing is to carry out that plan with full conviction. To do this you will need to eliminate all (almost all) distractions in your life and continue to be aware of the plan and your goal until you have achieved it.

Self imposed may also be simple awareness of one's limitations.
