#1 do not be embarrassed to ask your gyno anything, it's your body, and they know almost by sight if it is herpes, which I was told can look like a blister/cold sore, etc. They do burn when they are on your outside, but if it is warts and they are inside you, you can't tell unless you have a pap and are examined. The outside can burn really, really, bad. I have used a wash cloth that is super cold and that kind of numbs the area for a bit, I even used goldbond once - talk about burn, but it did numb it for awhile, after I was done jumping up and down!! #2 If it is anything serious your dr. will know, but please stay away from sex or any kind of touching there - that includes you!! Do not use any kind of soap, only clean cold water. I can only use laundry soap without purfumes, that was one of my problems!! See Your Dr. and hope for the best. In the meantime, sit on a cold rag whenever possible!!

Um, I think HPV happens in the cervix? And a wart generally doesn't look like a canker sore. This could be herpes, or perhaps just a sore which has gotten infected.
You could try putting some Neosporin on it for now.

It sounds to me like herpes. HPV is found during a pap test when the results come back abnormal. HPV is on your cervex not outside your body. I would be careful to not infect anyone else in case it's herpes.

Symptoms: HPV (human papillomavirus) can cause warts in or around the vagina, penis or rectum. In girls, the warts can be inside the body on the cervix or vagina so you can't see them. Or they can be on the outside of the body, but be too small to see. The warts usually don't hurt.
Good luck hon.
