BBC America/Monty Python fans: an obscure question?

Caerbannog castle is the castle on the island that appears at the end of "Monty Python and the Holy Grail".

Is this the same castle that appears next to the large red globe on the BBC America signature before shows broadcast by that network air?

The castle in "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" is Castle Stalker which is situated on Loch Laich, approx 1.5 miles (2.5 km) north east of Port Appin in Scotland. It appears as the Castle Aaaaarrrrrrggghhh.

The castle in the BBC ident is Eilean Donan castle, on Loch Duich in the West Highlands of Scotland. It didn't appear in Monty Python.
