why can't girls just wear REAL costumes and bring back the fun of halloween being about being someone else for a night....not showcasing your slutty ways!

all these girls on here that are defending it and saying "it's just fun" are making us all look like attention craving idiots. find a new way to grab a guy's attention....maybe one that doesn't portray us all as wannabe paris hiltons

My costume is very modest (long sleeves, long, loose fitting dress, hat) but the concept is questionable. I'm dressing up like Zoot ("... Just Zoot") from the Castle Anthrax from the Holy Grail.
I dress modestly every year because the costumes I like are always very complicated (like Renaissance costumes), and I have respect for myself. I'm also married, so I don't need to show off to anyone but my husband.

Did IT?????? :-P I don't think a costume changes the way people dress that much ... I've seen plenty in the local pub with less on than when they are in a costume :-) And not forgetting some of the skirts nowadays incl school uniforms are lets just say knicker line :-( I don't now how the parents let them wear them ????
If they were mine I'd lock them up until they were married ... LOL :-)

I agree its just a way to get attention from guys and its the wrong sort of attention anyway because when you dress like that, guys are only interested in one thing and once they get it they're gone!!

What others do is not our concern as long as they don't harm us .
A lot of times people who dress like that would never dream of it in everyday life , relax and have fun , enjoy life !

That's when it became a GREAT idea to prance about school and parties in lingerie, inappropriate footwear, animal ear headbands and whiskers drawn on with eyeliner.

well in girl world its just way to show their other side without having anybody calling them whore. but to me its just a time to dress up as something that i wouldnt show up to school as. lyk a goth or something lyk that.
