Don't give your baby cows milk until she is a year. She still needs formula or breast milk until then.

At 7 months old, no. Milk is not a substitute for formula.
Different dairy products such as yorgurt and cheese are partially broken down and easier to digest. Milk isn't and is very difficult to digest.
Our pediatrician suggested giving milk 1 week before their 12 month check up. That way any problems could be spotted right away. 1 of mine loves milk and drinks it every day. 1 of mine can't drink it.

If he/she wont take just milk then star doing a bottle 3/4 formula and 1/4 milk and every couple days you can add more milk and less formula but you shouldnt stop formula till the baby is 12 months old.

You shouldn't give your baby regular cow's milk until he/she is 1 year old. Until then they don't have the physical make up to break down the proteins in cow's milk - this can lead to illness. Your 7 month old should only have breast milk or formula to drink.

Your child should not have dairy milk until 12 mos or later. It doesn't have everything he needs to grow. It can cause intestinal bleeding if his body isn't ready for it. NOT a good idea. Too much cow's milk in a child's diet can put him at risk for iron-deficiency anemia (because milk can interfere with iron absorption) and decrease his intake of other more appropriate foods. Babies under a year are also at risk for allergic reactions if given cow's milk.

She is only 7 months old, you should wait untill she is atleast 11 months old to start milk. Then only start with mixing it in with her formula slowly. The protiens in the whole milk can upset her stomach and cause her to develope an allergy to the milk.

I would recommend that you don't give your 7 th month old regular milk it is recommended by doctors that you wait until atleast a year because their digestive system is not ready for regular milk, and they might have an allergy.

You want to start after formula 2% milk. It is not as rich as whole milk. DO NOT DO COWS MILK.... If you talk to your baby's pediatrician and address your concerns about wanting to transfer your baby from formula to regular milk he will advise you what is best. Is there a specific reason for wanting to wean him/her so early from the formula ? Oh and for the record no giving your baby regular milk early will not cause a milk allergy >>>>that's goofy<<<< it could possibly cause gas on your baby's stomach. It will not harm your baby I promise.Just call your physician or research it on the web. And don't mix it with his/her formula....

they say a child shouldnt have reg milk until they are 1 year old, but my pediatrician told me I can give my 8 month old yo baby yogurt which contains reg milk. But giving it to them straight isnt good for their bellys it can hurt them, I would stick with formula/breastmilk for a few more months, and maybe try the yogurt and see how they do with that :)
