Saving a bunch of money.
Which account I put it in is hardly that big of a deal (by the way, i save money in my 401k & IRA). The key is to build a nest egg somewhere.

My dad is retiring and we are looking into stuff for him. Yes he didn't do anything for retirement. So we are learning also. Looking into a trust. and IRA's

I'm saving a lot of money and I'm planning to have a nice business so that I wouldn't have to depend on the government's grant of pension and I'll be financially stable when I grow old.

How much shuffle board or checkers can anyone play?
For all those who live their lives in preparation for retirement, I have to say....You should have enjoyed yourself when you were young.
