I am on week 18 of my pregnancy...almost halfway through it. I have had no morning sickness, no movement, and I'm not showing. I have only gained like 6 pounds in 4 months and I'm still wearing my jeans comfortably. I'm getting concerned. I just dont know what it up with all of it. The last time I saw a doctor I was 11wks 2days and my ultrasound presumed normal, but now I'm worried. Should I be?

No dont be worried. I didnt feel my baby kick until about 19 weeks and i didnt even know what i was feeling was a kick. it kinda feels like gas bubbles but its not. you mite not be able to tell what a kick feels like until your doctor explains it to you. and some people dont get any sickness, they're the lucky ones and it looks like you turned out to be lucky too! as for showing dont worry. im 5 months and barely showing, i just have this little pouch but my baby girl is in perfect shape. but you should go to the doctor soon and get another ultrasound just to make sure everythings okay.

Don't worry. Many feel thier babies later than this and it's completely normal. It does not mean anything is wrong at all. Women feel thier babies at different stages of gestation. On top of this, you mentioned that you're thick and so you would naturally feel the baby a little later than a women at average weight. Many women (regardless of weight) have said they've felt thier babies at about 20 weeks or so. If you did indeed feel the baby at about 16 weeks, baby might have just been in an ideal position where it was easy for you to feel it. Try drinking some real fruit juice and maybe even a small snack. Lie down in quiet and wait and see of you feel anything. Just keep in mind that if you don't, there's nothing wrong with that - baby is still small at this time so it's normal. (I went through that too and I had to remind myself of the same thing. I'm now 36 weeks and baby is very healthy!) :-) Congratulations and good luck, mom!

This book is a must read for any woman trying to get pregnant. I was devastated and so was my husband after being told by my fertility specialist at age 38 that I had no option but to consider adoption or donor eggs (according to my doctor I was out of eggs and gave me 4% chance of getting pregnant and a 2% chance of carrying a baby to full term). After much research and dozens of hours reading infertility related articles and posts online, I have found this book! I never believed in anything alternative to western medicine and thought all the other stuff like Chinese medicine was a hoax. But I was soon glad to be wrong as I followed step by step guidelines. After one month of trying I became pregnant and had a beautiful healthy boy. Nine months after that I did everything in the book again and after 2 months of trying I got pregnant again and gave birth to another perfect little boy. I would recommend anyone with an open mind to read this book. It just might be the answer to your prayers.

Hey,
You shouldn't be worried....I was the same way with both of mine....I am 10 wks pregnant now and only gained a pound but then lost it....Alot of people would be like, you don't even look like you are pregnant, I start showing when I was 8 months to 9 months....Then when I was that far along, it look like I was 4 months....So don't worry!!! I am sure everything is okay!!! Good luck with your little one!!!!

As long as the Dr says that everything is fine then trust him. Plus don't speek too soon about having no symptoms, they may appear any time throughout the pregnancy. About the movement, you will feel your baby soon enough. Good Luck!!

Don't be worried, some people don't show until there 4th month. fluttering will be there, but some babies are very calm and secure in the womb and don't like to have a lot movement.
