i'm screwing up the way i live trying to get a guy, and im getting really impatient and dissapointed that wut i'm doing isnt getting me anywhere

There is no generic "guy" to ask - we are as different from each other as girls are from each other.
The younger the guy, the more physical elements are important; the older the guy (& the therefor the more he has suffered) the more personality traits (kindness, patience, sense of humor, common interests) become much more important.
People in general are attracted to people similar to themselves.
Young people tend to choose clones of their opposite sex parents for their first few relationships (or marriages) until they figure out what they have been doing, then start actually using the neocortex & thinking a bit before jumping.
Sometimes when people stop trying so hard is when something falls right into their lap.

It depends on the guy's maturity level. When I was younger, it was ALL about looks and fun. And she had to be able to keep up with me in the sack too. For some weird reason that I can't explain, I matured at some point and realized I was wasting my time. I think I saw myself going in the same cycle with nothing ever really changing. Seemingly overnight, everything seemed all too fake, and I was ready for something REAL, something with substance. Nowadays, looks don't play as much of a role. It's more about her being genuine and mature enough to know what she wants. Common interests are also very important. So my answer is that it depends on the guy's maturity level. The same holds true for you too. Do you know what you want out of a relationship? Are you involved in activities where you can meet guys? (It won't happen sitting at home on the couch.) Do you turn away guys that could surprise you and actually be a good match for you? Do you make the move sometimes or show signs of interest? Be subtle though, because appearing desperate is never a good thing. Anyways, I hope I was helpful. Good luck!

A little of both. Most guys likes a girl who takes moderate care of her body. Nothing perfect. As far as personality is concerned, it depends on if your personality is something he's attracted to in girls. And vice-versa. You don't have to be totally alike, but go with what you feel in your gut if you feel that this is the type of guy you want to be with or not.

nice sized hips, little waist. Good sense of humor. I try to picture a woman really angry and if this is difficult to see in her, that is attractive to me. I love the sweetheart kind a girl. Independent and bitchy doesn't work for me.
