wallgreens starts at 7.25 an hour in texas. you give paid vacations and a lot of other benefits. plus after 6 months you get another paiy raise. that is probably the best retail job you could get since min. wage is 5.15. There are also bookkeeping and clerical jobs always opening up around towns such as at city hall and the police station... oh, and look into schools and see what they require as far as schooling is concerned. sometimes you can get week time jobs there and get a pretty good salary doing bookwork, office work, secretarial work. things like that. also look in the newspaper.

It's not always clear how to start hunting for a job, I was in a bit of a rut during the last couple of weeks when I was job searching, until I uncovered the resource in the box below that provides sensible tips. I soon got myself going down the correct way, and in a month or so after a couple of interviews I landed a really good job.

Apply at a retail store where you can earn wages and commision, many are hiring now for the holidays. Honestly, you really cant earn a lot without being in a company for a while and moving up or without a degree.
You can also be a waitress and get big tip$ - but many places require you to be a hostess first.

Farmer John is always hiring. They are 24/7, so you will be able to find something to fit your schedule.
They interview at 7:30 am, Monday through Thursday. Just show up and fill out the application and wait to be interviewed.
They are located on Soto Street, between Bandini and Vernon.
