keep in mind both these cars are stock and automatic, is there something i should change on my car such as fuel injectors or anything like that?

NO harm, but If U don't know what to do to your car or exactly what your car is capable of, then U probably don't know how to really "race", that is if that's what your going to do.
BUT TO ANSWER YOUR Q.
hp is not the only figure in the equation, the HONDA might be putting more torque to the ground (have more torque) than your ACURA. Hp is no good if U cant transfer the energy to the wheels and the ground efficiently.
If U cant drive in the first place, someone driving a car w/ 10hp can beat U. U dont know that ?
Stick to wour day job befor somone gets hurt.

HP isn't everything, the way the integra's engine is built may give it a little more torque, also the gear ratios are probably different and that could give him the acceleration he needs to beat you.

Did you shift it manually or let the automatic tranny pick the shift points? Shift it manually and find out where the maximun torque is and shift it at that point manually and you will do better maybe?When ya run make sure the gas tank is at or below 1/4 of a tank and no passengers!!!!!

either he's lying to you about what he has, or his gearing ratio is different, or the tires are different, or you are not good at racing, or there are so many variables that can be taken in account for

start your base car from a car that is fast to start with then worry about making it faster.
