Ok....the only thing I can come up with is that somehow you've clicked on the address bar itself. See, there are a couple of places where you can click and you will get a sideways arrow. When you get that arrow, you can pull the address bar out further or push it back. You may have inadvertently pushed it back so that it LOOKS like it isn't there. Run your curser along the address bar without doing any clicking. Find where your sideways arrow is and go from there. Good luck !

Right click next to the menu bar and select address bar (so that there's a check near it)...
You might have to drag it to make it appear all the way...

Try right clicking on a bar you have visible, then make sure "Address Bar" is ticked

go to where the blank bar is at the top and two arrows should come out and pull those down with the mouse.
