At the absolute center of the earth, there is no "felt" gravity. I don't know how to measure the strength of this force. If you were at the center of the earth there would be no force pulling you to the center, you are already there! If you draw a circle of arrows with all of the points pointing to the center of the circle no one arrow would be able to exert a force on you that would be greater than the other arrows.

Damiens, your explanation is not completely accurate (below me) because if you are at the center of the earth, then there is no matter "below you" unless you are thinking of the earth is being half below you and half above you.

The answer to your question is there is no net gravitational force acting on you if you were at the center of the earth.

Why? Because gravity comes from the amount of matter "below" you meaning that if you were distance r away from the center, then the matter included in a sphere of radius r contributes to the gravitational pull. At the center of the earth, r=0, therefore there is nothing pulling you towards the cener.

As for the matter "above" you that is pulling you away from the center of the earth, the earth is a perfect shperical homogeneous object so there is matter pulling you in all directions away from the center, but since they are all the same, all of the forces cancel each other out.

So, yes! If you were at the center of the earth, you will not feel any pull. As soon as you move away a little bit, you will be pulled back to the center. If you also assume no friction, then you will simply oscillate (going back and forth, bouncing)!
