I hated it. And don't get me wrong, I was popular, athletic and had a lot going for me, but I hated it so much. It was politics, only on a much lower, stupider level. I hated most of my "group" but pretty much had to hang with them because they were popular. Looking back I would have hung out with everyone and not given a damn what everyone thought of me. My "group" gossiped and betrayed me, and I can't say I was much better. Such a freaking waste of time. They hurt me very badly, and to this day, some of those wounds havn't healed. ANYWAY, I hated high school so much and the people so much I don't know if I can even bring myself to go to a reunion (it's been 5 years). It makes me feel sick to think about it. What's your high school story???

I was kinda like you I hate high school but I'm popular. I use to always hang out with the popular people because it felt good to be popular but then I realized how mean and fake them people really were so I started being friends with everyone and not caring about if I was in the "in" group or not. I still have 3 years left with these people and can't wait until I graduate.

I hated highschool because I tried so hard to get good grades went to every class everyday. Never partied, tried not to get involved with the wrong group, did everything at that time I thought was right but I still got bad grades nothing higher than a C for 4 years straight. I graduated at the bottom of my class barely. Knowing what I know now I wish I could go back, things would be a lot differant I would seldom study, Buy in to the popularity contest and just have a good time and not worry about getting the grades

I loved high school. The knowledge, the babes, etc. But I graduated from high school in Southern California in the L.A. suburbs 40 years ago this year and I am not going to my reunion because the people in my class are idiots. You'd think that after 40 years they would combine a couple of classes together because we are disappearing fast, but no, they keep trying to hold them with only a few people present. Old friends yes, idiot high school reunion organizers, no.

I hated high school i was there to learn i just wanted to put in my time and get it over with. too many kids were just there for the popularity contest and disrupted class and did not give a crap about there education because there parrents would be paying for them to go to college so noting mattered to them. I tryed to keep to my self and avoid the gossip even though did did happed i stayed away from the incroud so i did not hear it.

I'm still in highschool (sophomore)... I pretty much learned my lesson in 8th grade when I realized that I didn't belong to any groups... I also realized that I didn't much like the way people acted at my school... I'm detached from it all these days. No school spirit, no liking what others like, none of that.
It's not that I don't like it... It's okay, I guess. I have it better than other people (MUCH better)... I'm just smart (ha, some seem to think that), quiet, and a bit of a floater... You can just say that I lost my trust in people because of all that's happened to me before, but I'm okay with life so...

I had mixed feelings in Freshman Year because the older grades looked at the younger with a smirk or had some mean things to say but in my 2nd year it was all good, I liked most of the teachers and made friends easily and had fun ..MY Senior year I never was mean to any of the younger kids because It was not the right thing to do..

I loved it. I was friends with everyone. The goods, hoods, geeks, freaks and everyone in between. It was fun and I would do it all over. I would probably study a little more cuz I had a little TOO much fun at times. Maybe could have gone to a better college had I studied. Although I haven't gone to a one reunion and its been 21 yrs ago this past May. I still look at the yearbook every once in awhile and laugh. all the parties and fun times! Not to say they were all good times but mostly! The worst was my buddy in 10th grade that got shot and died and others that died but thats life unfortunately. My best time was when my senior yr teacher told us anyone who bought a term paper would fail and she would catch them cuz she was so smart...well guess who bought one and got a B+! Fcuk you Ms. Baldridge! LOL
Sorry to hear your times weren't good but I always wondered about the goods that walked around like their schit didn't stink how they thought in their head...figured it was something like your times. Don't let it bother you now tho...can't change the past...only the future!

I hated school!!!.....but for yrs., I wish I could go back to them days. If you're still in school, make the best of it/enjoy it,- that's what my aunt told me & I wish I believed her at the time, after high school, it's time to "grow up" & start a new life.
