I know that vampires are supposed to be weak against the holy element but, I seem to recall that depending the story, some vampires are weak against fire as well. What do you know about this?

Fire will weaken a vampire in the sense it will distract them. All their clothes will burn and they'll be scarred, but it won't kill them. See Blade 1, where the vampire gets burnt by Blade.
Ice won't have any effect unless it is made with holy water.

Fire will only temorarily subdue them, at least until their awesome regeneration kicks in.
