Is there a point getting one when you have no HD tv??????i have a PS2 and i ask should i wait for the PS3 instead??????

wel,the thing is HD tv's are expensive..i mean good one's like Sony And Lg..and i want it to be in my room,nt a house one..so still think there is a use or i should wait for atleastt wait 2years when everything drops,like the prices????????

the 360 still shows graphical improvement on regular tvs (not the kind of stuff you'll see at the store on the big hd's) I dont know about the ps3 for that concept.
Then you have to consider the games line up... alot of companies are making "console specific only" so, in reality,,, if you go next-gen... look at the games... get your hdtv down the road

You can get a smaller HD tube tv pretty cheap. Tube tv's look better than plasma's and lcd's anyway. Ya they are heavier and the screen isn't as big, but I have a 36" sony xbr that looks better than all my friends lcd's, dlp's, and plasma's. It might not be as big as the others, but how big is your room anyway? I say get the wii, the money you save from not buying the ps3 you can put towards a tv. The wii only supports 480p anyway. And to support the 1080p that the ps3 has you would need to spend a boat load as those tv's are just coming out.

If you want the "next-gen" games then yeah. If you want to stop playing games then no. It is really that simple. All the new games will soon be on those systems. Yeah they would look prettier on HD but I have a 360 and I'll tell you Dead Rising is fun without HD, may look nicer on HD but doesn't take away from playing the game.

Dude, both are a waste of time, they are the same as the Xbox and the PS2 but with better graphics, nothing out of normal really, I would've expected more from this new generation but they all kinda suck.
Perhaps the most innovative one is the Wii and still, it doesn't convince me at all, I'm not buying any of them....

360 will not be as pricy but is a little older but if you like the Playstaion games then pay the extra money to get that because it is sure to be a great system.
