without gravity there would be no life: there would be no planets, no suns, ...nothing but dust spread around the universe. if gravity on earth was much less, there would be no water and no atmosphere in our planet, there would be no life. gravity affects our everyday lives by many many things, almost everything we use is subject to gravity.

without gravity we would not be here because gravity holds our atmosphere together and around us. So we would have winds about 159,487,384 miles per hour. The reason for this is that the atmosphere makes the air around us move the same speed as the earth itself
So basicly, without gravity we would die.

You ever drop something heavy on your toe? Now seriously. WITH GRAVITY we have a planet to stand on, a sun to light it, an atomsphere to breathe. It gives us something to build homes and buildings on, a firmament to bury our dead, a place for kids to run around and fall down on to something...usually hard. Without gravity everything immedietly would fly off in one direction it had energy for and never stop except for friction, which doesn't have much to work with in a total abscence of gravity. That is the gravity of this situation.

It keeps you from jumping off the Earth and getting lost in space..That's a nice way to ruin someone's day. :P

It keeps things on the ground so we don't have to float to get them.

Also, if we didn't have gravity, pretty much any building that we want to go straight up wouldn't be straight enough because 'straight up' was first used with a rock and a thread to have a perfect straight line.

You cannot fly... unfortunately! You get tired when you go up a hill or when you don't use an elevator and go from the stairs.
But you can walk, run, jump and don't get lost in space.
