HEY NIGHTRIDER.. 9 HOURS OF SLEEP IS FINE IF I TAKES U AN HOUR TO FALL ASLEEP - ALSO. HE WORKS IN A NURSING HOME, THEREFORE HE IS WALKING ABOUT 10 TO 15 MILES A DAY BACK AND FORTH - he wore a pedomoter for a week, thats how he knew. and no, hes not overweight, in fact he just lost 20 pounds.

Your husband need to see a doctor, you didn't state his age, but if he's a thriving late 20 or early 30's and is constantly tired even after 8 or 9 hrs of sleep, there is a problem with something, somewhere.....it could be sleep apnea, Chronic Fatugue Syndrome, depression, low testosterone levels, even an undiagnosed disease, or even poor thyroid function.....The only way to know for sure is to do a complete blood pathology and complete physical to rule out any diseases (i.e. heart problems) that may be causing the problem, firsthand......BUT HE IS IN THE HEALTHFIELD (AS I AM) AND HE NEEDS TO BE SCREENED BY A DOCTOR, WHO MIGHT RECOMMEND A SPECIALIST.....Good luck....

Do you know too much sleep actually makes you feel tired? This could be the reason. Undisturbed sleeping for more than 8 hours is not necessary.

I think it is lethargy. Is he overweight? Does he have an exercise routine? It doesn't matter if he is busy at work and whether he does anything physical around the patients. If he does the 20-minute exercise, he will be energetic. I bet.

Other than that, may be - he is low on Iron and B complex. But you say he takes all kinds of vitamins, but is he taking the right kind? If you eat right, your body really does not need any vit. pills.

Any excess is secreted thru urine and feces. It is actually a waste of money.
