It's been 7 weeks in the NFL and some are flourishing while others have been a total bust. If I had to pick an MVP right now, it's QB Donavan McNabb of the Philadelphia Eagles. Sans T.O., McNabb is healthy and finally throwing the ball like he used to before T.O. came to town. With Westbrook being more involved in the offense than before, McNabb is getting less pressure to throw the ball and can make any WR a stud (Donte Stallworth, Reggie Brown, Hank Baskett, TE L.J. Smith). As an added bonus, he can still run the ball (3 rushing TD this season). McNabb is proving that the "Madden" curse can break:
104.8 QB Rating (1st in NFC, Rivers lead the NFL in Rating)
1849 Passing yards (1st in NFL)
13 Passing TD (1st in NFL)
87 Rushing yards (Tied for 1st among QB)
Only has 2 INT this season
Most important record: 4-2 (1st in NFC East)
Other nominees for MVP:
Torry Holt, WR St. Louis (526 Yards, 7 TD)
Marc Bulger, QB St. Louis (99.8 QB Rating, 1619 Yards, 10 TD)
Ladanian Tomlinson, RB San Diego (476 Total Yards, 7 TD)
Peyton Manning, QB Indianapolis (95.6 Rating, 1278 Yards, 10 All-Purpose TD)
Brian Westbrook, RB Philadelphia (581 Total Yards, 6 All-Purpose TD)
Clinton Portis, RB Washington (504 Total Yards, 6 TD)
Eli Manning, QB New York Giants (92.3 Rating, 1329 Yards, 11 TD)
Larry Johnson, RB Kansas City (631 Total Yards, 4 All-Purpose TD)
Willie Parker, RB Pittsburgh (434 Yards, 5 TD)

You have to go with McNabb. His team is hurting in the secondary and on the Cover Corners. He has no set WR he can throw to like a Harrison, Moss, TO or Holt. He has the Most Yards from Scrimmage and has a good ammount of rushing yards.
As of right now its McNabb's year and I dont see anyone takeing it away from him.
(no madden curse either)

McNabb so far...
Tomlinson has to be mentioned as well...
and I give a shout out for B. Urlacher, but it's rare for a defensive player to get it. But right now...McNabb has a lock on it!
