it had differnt regiements of the britsh army and they would do differnt talks each week trying to find out who was the best i think it was on a saturday

The one I remember in the States was about WWII. A drama series

I remember a tv show called combat. But this was the late sixties and early seventies. It was about a squad of soldiers bumping loads of oriental gentlemen off in world war two in the pacific. I cannot remember who was in it as I was to young to notice things like that.

Oh, I vaguely remember it. It aired in the 60s, and it was American GIs. About 150 episodes and you can get them on dvd. Started less than 20 years after WWII. Vic Morrow. Is that the one you mean?
