Can a person be allergic to the flu shot??

If so what kind of symptoms?? What symptoms does it give if your not allergic?? I got my flu shot this morning and now im not feelin that good not my normal self. Is this suppose to happen??

I've had the flu shot a couple of times and before each shot, I've had to sign a form saying that I'm not allergic to chicken, eggs or feathers. So, I'm guessing if you are allergic to any of these, you could be having a reaction.

It was stressed to me that the flu shot could not give me the flu, however, both times, I was laid low by cold symptoms for about a week after.

I elected not to have the flu shot this year.
