Someone told me they lived in Oklahoma(Norman) and they said there law states if you live w/ any woman for 24 hours or more you are married by common law marriage. Also if you have more then 1 female there you would be married to all the females in the house of legal age? I really cannot believe this, is this true?

Common law marriage can be proven by cohabitation for a long period of time and by other evidence establishing that you and another person are living as husband and wife. If 24 hours is acceptable in your locality, you can validly claim to have lived with a common-law wife.

Oklahoma's common law marriage laws are no longer in effect....

before my husband and i got married, we lived together for quite a while, and we thought we would be married by common law, but we had a judge and several lawyers quote some recent law (within the last 5 years or so) that did away with common law marriages. the law (if i understand it right) still recognizes common law marriages from up to sometime in the 90s when the new law took effect, but no unmarried couple who moves in together today would be considered common law married.

hopefully that makes sense.

Boy, are you gullible. First, no state allows common law marriage (of the 8 plus the District of Columbia that recognize it) without a holding-out by the couple that they are married. Secondly, no state allows common-law marriages that would be illegal if someone tried to get married the usual way.

Somebody is messing with your head. No state has a law stating that. Some states have common law marriage laws and they pertain to years, not hours. The law applies to couples displaying themselves as partners. Not every state has that law and also, the Federal Government does not recognize common law marriage last I checked.
