Yes, many did.
There are black FBI agents, Officers in Military, Civil Rights would have not moved at the same speed without Rosa Parks.
There are 20 US black Congresswomen, 331 state Congresswomen currently. The Secretary of State, Judges,
& etc. Black women are making strides, we just do not hear about it much. Politically incorrect to count people as black or white, the majority of black elected women are Republican - not by a large margin but about 4%.

Carol Moseley-Braun (D-IL) was the first Black female Senator
Mary Fair Burks founded the Women’s Political Council civil rights org
Rep. Shirley Chisholm (D-NY) ran for president in 1972
And of course, Rosa Parks.

yes of course there were many the one that pops in my head rite away is Rosa parks she did something very brave and political there also was conda lisa rice who is secretary of department of justice she is helping to stop this outrages test bombing in korea and is very good at speech and protecting the u.s.a and there is Harriet Tubman and plenty more look on google or yahoo search just type in black women that did important things i am sure u will find a lot more than just the 3 people i named so don't don't worry you will find a whole bunch!

Shirley Chisholm was one of the first female legislators elected to Congress and she was a fabulous strong and intelligent black woman

Rosa Parks for one. She sat in the front of the bus and would not move. She made a HUGE statement for African-Americans in the United States. She is an ICON.
